About Seward Montessori
Seward Montessori exists to nurture independence and curiosity through a joyful learning community grounded in Montessori education.
Seward Montessori School is a citywide magnet located in a quiet southeast Minneapolis neighborhood of the same name, adjacent to the Matthews Community Center and Park. At Seward all children will receive a student-centered, hands-on, social justice-oriented education emphasizing responsibility to self, others, and the world. Seward uses the Montessori philosophy and approach to support individualized, self-directed learning which allows students to progress at their own pace.
