Academics

Seward Montessori has three branches of academics:

• Children's House consists of three Pre-K classrooms: one half day morning class, one half day afternoon class, and one full day class; and five Kindergarten classrooms.
• E-1 has 16 classrooms that combine 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades.
• E-2 has 7 classrooms that combine 4th and 5th grades.

All elementary students also spend time with Specialists in Art, Health, Music, Physical Education, and Science. Upper Elementary students also learn band or string instruments.

Seward also has teachers for special education, literacy, english language learning, and advanced learners. 

All grade levels are supported by the administration, office, health office, student support services, associate educators, special education assistants, and reading tutors.
