Parent Teacher Association
Seward Montessori benefits from an active and engaged community of families and staff committed to enriching the student experience.
What is PTA
PTA is a parent-run organization that works to strengthen and support education and community at Seward Montessori. The PTA raises money to support students, teachers and staff by funding field trips, providing mini-grants to teachers and staff for purchasing special materials or pursue professional development, and purchasing supplies and equipment not covered by the school budget. The PTA chair, Jess Nelson can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org

PTA Fundraising Plan, Give. Help. Grow.
Through your contributions and support, the Seward PTA is able to achieve the goal of enrichment, education, and experience for all students in our school. Things like field trips, online learning platforms, Art Adventure, Teacher Emeritus, STEAM supplies, books in the media centers, and so much more – are made possible by PTA fundraising.
Each year, you are invited to participate in a number of fundraising activities. The PTA understands this can seem overwhelming, and provides a variety of options so your family may choose to participate in whatever ways work best for you:
- Give to the Max Day in November
- Read-a-thon in February
- Seward Plant Sale in May
We have a diverse and exciting family community at Seward, and the fundraising programs developed by your PTA are meant to reflect just that. We encourage you to select the events that work best for you and your family and give where you see fit. Each donation means so much to each student’s experience. We can’t thank you enough for all you do for our school.
Gifts help the PTA support students, teachers, and staff throughout the year with needed materials, tools, and nourishment that students need to learn and be successful. Your support is immeasurable. Thank you.
If you would like to further support Seward Montessori through a monthly gift, corporate matching gift or would like to learn more about corporate matching programs, contact the PTA Treasurer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
